Have you tried using only "Multi Device Processing" under Advanced ?  If that doesn't help you can try Force CPU processing and see what that does.  Those two settings usually have an effect with that problem.

Help & Support / Bizarre low fps recording in recent versions
« Last post by turbodude555 on May 23, 2017, 10:16:41 pm »
I have a rig made specifically for even being able to game and record "lossless" in 4k with DXTORY. As of late, some games are refusing to record correctly. Even really simple Unity-based games. It would appear quite a few things apparently somehow "lock" at 45fps recording almost exactly. Even if the game is running at 60fps or higher. Of course I could use "synchronous surface lock" for example but then the output isn't exactly a smooth 60fps even if it records as that. What's been going on recently?

EDIT:

Can confirm DXTORY is causing the problem, something is causing it to capture at about 75% the target fps. Locking the games to 90fps rather than 60fps lets me record 60fps it would seem....

Help & Support / Re: AVI uses techsmith or techsmith2 codec?

CAMPROJ is the project file with all the edits/zooms/texts etc. that only Camtasia can read (more info here from their site). To get the video into a format that Windows Media Player can read you'll need to export it out from Camtasia. It's usually File > Export > MP4 or Share > Local File > MP4

Edit:
If you have the .trec file, in Windows Explorer, Right-click > Extract and that will dump the .avi & .wav files

Techsmith codecs are specifically designed for very slow desktop recording, not games.
I also have a problems about techsmith. Recently I find this article http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/camproj-to-mp4.html because i want to edit my recorded CAMPROJ videos by Camtasia. As the article says I streams the CAMPROJ out to MP4 file, but after I had moved it to my Windows Media Player, a warning " Unrecognized title" emerged... What's wrong with it? Is the techsmith codec incompatible with Windows Media Player?

Did you already try removing old java profiles from the profiles folder yet ?  With Dxtory closed, navigate to
Code: [Select]
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Dxtory Software\Dxtory2.0\Profiles
and remove or rename any java related profiles like javaw.exe.  Also, open index.txt and remove any lines containing java as well.  Then start Dxtory and see if it makes any difference.

There is a way to ignore almost all java ( for testing with USM ), you need to add a new ignore entry in the first tab and use this as the file path
Code: [Select]
*\javaw.exe,*
