Compatibility Issue
« on: April 11, 2017, 03:36:25 am »
The new update supposedly "fixed" compatibility issues with windows 10. It did NOT. I currently have the latest version of DXTORY on my computer and it still has issues with compatibility with windows 10. I am unsure of a fix for this. I have already uninstalled and installed latest version hoping it would fix compatibility issues but it has not. Pretty disappointing.

ver 2.0.128 ist currently AFAIK the only version that is working fine with the newest Windows 10 version.

Have the same problem since the Windows 10 Version 1607 "Anniversary Update".  As a "solution" I set my PC back to the version prior the Ann.-Upd. and deactivated all Windows 10 Updates completely. This is not an option for me anymore (and IMHO it shouldn't be an option for ANYONE), since other software on my working PC demands an up-to-date OS... and for me Dxtory on Windows 10 Version 1607 is still broken to this day.

Hopefully this gets fixed BEFORE the Windows 10 Version 1703 "Creators Update" hits my PC. Or after. I hope, it get's fixed at all. Don't want to switch to another recording software, Dxtory worked fine for me, when it did.

UPDATE: I had uninstalled Dxtory completely, and after a reboot I installed the notorious new Windows 10 "Creators Update", after that I installed the latest Dxtory Version ver2.0.142 (2017/04/09). And so far, it's looking good. Dxtory starts up normal with the latest version, recording etc. working as it should for me. So anybody having the same problems I had, should seriously consider updating to the newest Windows 10 build (rollout has started yesterday I believe?), also a clean install of Dxtory might help instead of an update installation. You have to adjust all settings again from scratch, but that's a price we should be willing to pay.

Hi guys,

I have Dxtory version 2.0.142 & Windows 10 version 1607
GPU nvidia GTX 1060 with last driver 381.65

With some games I have on Steam dxtory works fine and with other games Dxtory does not work
Exemple: With the game "Call of duty infinite warfare" Dxtory does not work
with the game "Moto Racer 4" Dxtory does not work
with the game "YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z" Dxtory works fine

I do not understand. Thank in advance for your help.

I'm having the same issues since the creators update. Some games just crash instantly if dxtory is running, for example minecraft. I don't get any error log, not from dxtory, not from minecraft. It's super frustrating.

I tried reinstalling dxtory several times, deleted all the files, rebooted, made sure all my drivers are up to date, run dxtory as an administrator - nothing. Something is still not fixed in tge newest update. Please look into it! Currently I'm forced to use OBS and I really don't like it.
