Title: dxtory messes up sound in-game

I recently purchased dxtory and am using it to record video in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for PC, but when running dxtory, my in-game sound swaps sides such that sounds from the left appear to come from right and vice versa.  It only happens when I run dxtory.  It goes back to normal when I turn dxtory off.  I use a logitech G35 headset.  Is there some setting I'm missing or any suggested fixes out there?

Dxtory is only running? While recording?
Are they a problem of an audio driver, or your misapprehension?

It only happens when Dxtory is running.  Does not matter if it is recording or not.  If I turn off Dxtory, the in-game sound goes back to normal.  If I have Dxtory running, then the left and right in-game sounds are clearly swapped.  I use the G35 headset as my sound device as well as recording device (headset has mic).  I've tried turning off sound recording option all together in Dxtory, still swaps sounds.

I think that it is a problem of the Audio device as I said first.
You should look for solution by the Logitech forum.

Are you playing the game in stereo?

dont use any multichannel settings and dont use any multichannel emulation too.

Not sure I follow about playing game in stereo.  Not much of an audiophile.  I play with the headset which is 7.1 surround sound.  Using PCM codec and I'm selecting the format which matches the playback out of my G35 headset. 

I've tried using just the single channel with no luck so far.  I'm going to try disable any other playback device on the computer, even if not used, and see if that helps.

Then look into your game if the game offers you a setting for your speaker mode. If it does -> select stereo.
If it doesnt: Go into your windows sound settings and ensure that windows is set to stereo.
Go into your logitech software and ensure that surround emulation is deactivated.

Try that again then.

oh and: Is the problem with every game or just CoD?
