Hello,
i'm recording cs:go videos with the Lagarith Lossless Codec on my Windows PC but I wan to cut and render them on my Macbook. With other recording programs that never was a problem but if I want to open them on any way on my Mac it fails. If I try to tranform the .avi movie into a .mov movie with an external program it instanly fails. VLC Media Player is also unable to play the movies. I tried this also with the standart dxtory video codec but it didn't work.
Ideas?
does your file have a size? if it doesn't then it wasn't recorded correctly.
On the top left. you would see the status. left is game FPS and right is RECORDING fps. does that even show up?

I don't think Lagarith codec is available on mac. Considering DxTory codec is dxtorys own codec, it doesn't exist on mac.
VLC uses it's own built-in codecs, lagarith is only partially supported (afaik).
MagicYUV has codecs for Windows (stable) and Mac (beta). Probably a better choice if you need crossplatform compatibility http://magicyuv.com/index.php/download
Tank you for youre answers so far!
I am able to see the file size and i am able to watch the recording on the windows media player. If the Lagarith codec is not avalible for the Mac can you recommend any codec, which is recording .mp4 files?
