Title: Solid state pixel line in videos after recording using the x264vfw codec
Post by: shogoz on March 25, 2015, 06:23:25 PM
Hey everyone

For some reason whenever I use VLC I get a green line down the right side when I watch a video I've just recorded using the x264vfw codec in VLC. I used to think it wasn't a big deal but after I've rendered the video to an MP4 using Movie Studio Platinum I've noticed a weird pixelated line down the opposite side which stays there for the entire video. I've gone through many sites and it's hard to find a lot of information about what exactly is going on :/.

Pic of what I see when I watch the vid after recording in dxtory:

When I uploaded the video to Youtube, the line was still there...any suggestions will be appreciated!
