I believe my service packs are up to date. Could not find which one i have installed though.
Had similar problems when I started capturing - are you sure you installed VfW version of codec? Some codecs are written only for DirectShow, not ACM/VfW. As far as I learned Dxtory only supports VfW codecs. Hope this helps!
