Hello guys,
I'm using the latest drivers for my Nvidia card, also using the latest in dxtory which is 2.0.133 at this point. I already record other games so I know how to use it. I usually use Utvideo codec and its working fine with other games. I tried using the delay hook of 30 as others states in the forum here and it still doesn't capture it. I even tried to remove all sounds from dxtory and used the dxtory video codec and it still wont capture it. the fps remains green in other words.

Thats the thing, I don't have one. it doesn't create one. At some point I thought it was an app like chrome, geforce experience or some other that prevented the start of the capture. I have to close dxtory then start it again to make it work correctly. And sometimes, I thought it was the codec as I choosed utvideo and nothing happened, so I used dxtory video codec and then it worked. So I switched back to utvideo and it did work !?!? I'm so confused. nothing helps me at all here ahahah
When it does work, it works for a couple of minutes before crashing and gives me this report:

I'm having similar issues. I could see the FPS-Overlay, but couldn't manage to get the preview work in obs for example. It found the process but no matter what I tried, I couln't get it to work.
Switched back to .132 and everything works perfectly fine again.

I have to report that I'm having the same issue. The overlay shows just fine but there is no response to the recording or screenshot hotkeys.
I'm not at home right now so I cannot submit the environment info or any logs. However, I'm using Windows 10 and a GTX-980 with the latest Nvidia drivers. The issue is 100% replicable as I installed .133, then went back to .132 where it worked fine, back up to .133 where it stopped working again, and then back to .132 where it again worked fine. GTA V seems to be the only game affected that I've tried.
Additionally, since using Windows 10, the only way to prevent GTA V from crashing after a short time is to use a delay hook timer, and even then it's 50-50. This didn't occur on Windows 8.1. But once I updated to Windows 10 it began happening and even since then, I've wiped and done a fresh install using the .iso and it hasn't solved it.
ExKoder, I think something needs to be done on your end as you can't just expect a delay hook timer to be the only solution without putting in some effort to try and fix it first. If anything the delayed hook should be a temporary fallback until the issue can be fixed, but as customers, we should receive more feedback on issues like these, as your forum replies are quite short, lacking info, and some might say abrupt.
Try a clean install of Dxtory.
Done already using the checkbox on install more than once. It's not anything we're (not) doing. Simple as this: .132 works, .133 does not, in both respects clean or otherwise and as I mentioned already, it's 100% replicable.
My .133 is working fine, so I don't know.
Windows 10 and GTA V? It could be a Windows 10 issue in conjunction with .133, which is a possibility I've always been aware of.
I faced this issue on GTA V, on Windows 10 and running on version .133.
Strangely, I manage to overcome this issue by alt-tabbing the game, hit the record button and alt-tab back into the game. It appears recording after returning to the game. I have to do the same process to stop recording.
