Title: Flicker issue - Windows 10
Post by: CreativeMD on September 24, 2015, 10:54:39 PM
Hello,
i updated from windows 7 to windows 10 and suddenly the version of dxtory 2.0.128 always dropped the game/ the video to 12-14 FPS once i start recording. So i updated to a newer version.
The FPS isn't dropping anymore but i got a flicker issue as you can here: https://youtu.be/5xNa5-05feU

My environment: http://pastebin.com/MJE9LPn1

Hope i could explain my situation. Thanks for your advice.

Is any MOD being used?

I'm thinking there is this problem with only Minecraft of the specific environment.

The flicker issue also appears on a vanilla minecraft 1.7.10 environment.
While the newest snapshots doesn't have this issue.

This problem makes Dxtory unuseable, the flickering increases with recording time, too.
It's a wierd behaviour, because it seems to react on Minecraft. For example: The flickering decreases if i'm looking in a certain direction and increases in other directions.
I forgot to mention that the overlay flickers as well, it less with high FPS but it's still there.

Nope, changing the codec does not effect anything.
Already the gui overlay is flickering:

I reinstalled Dxtory serveral times, i cleaned my registry, i uninstalled all codex -> i tried everything possible but this issue doesn't disappear.
Does anyone has stupid idea what could cause this issue?
I noticed that Dxtory cannot be fully uninstalled if Chrome is running, it fails to delete the DxToryCodec.dll.

Ok, i reinstalled my computer and it's still the same issue.
This issue is not caused by me, but it has to be caused by something else.
It only occurs on Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.8 (It doesn't madder if Forge is installed or not)
I'm using Java 8.
Is there nobody how could help me out?

All Minecraft players have currently when they take with Dxtory the problem.
Alternatively, you can LoiLo Game Record or used OBS like.
Before an update of Dxtory brauhcste since nciht hope for a solution. and even as wennd update is out there is no guarantee that it will work.
