Title: Playback stutter when downscaling
Post by: bradenfontaine on January 03, 2016, 01:12:52 AM
When recording at my native resolution (2560x1440) i get excellent in game fps and recorded fps, but when trying to downscale to record at 1920x1080 my recorded playback is stuttering badly. i have tried different video players. even after encoding using Handbrake or  VidCoder the playback is still choppy. Any ideas?

the whole selling point of this software is the ability to downscale the recording, if i cannot properly achieve that then i just wasted this money.

I tried downscaling and it's fine on my side.

What video codec are you using? Have you tried experimenting with different native and downscaled resolutions? Does it only happen in Fallout 4?

I'm thinking something might be wrong with my graphics card or driver, AVI files do not play well at all. Let me do a little more testing and i will see if it does it in all codecs and all games.
