Title: Init error - Does not record/create a file - Game: CS:GO - Windows 10

Hello,

I'm trying to record Counter Strike: Global offensive.
- The fps does get "orange" as if it the program recorded, but when I hit the record button again, it doesn't make a file. Taking screenshots with DxTory works, but recording doesn't.

I have tried different codecs like: Lagarith LossLess Codec, Matrox MPEG-2 I-frame HD and DxTory Video Codec. I have tried other versions of DxTory. And i have tried to follow different tutorials online. Nothing works.

I have the same problem with flightsimulator fsx
I have the same win10 version and I tried differents codecs
tree times i could make a movie and when I restarted my computer the same problem
is it due to win 10?
I have a new computer and on my crashed computer dxtory worked flawlessly

Seeing the amount of Win10 topics, I really think there are compatability issues. Maybe 2.0.134 will fix that.

Try activating Synchronous Surface Lock.

It looks like something else is hooking into the process and preventing Dxtory from recording properly. Do you have any other overlays or programs that could be hooking into CS:GO such as MSI Afterburner, Overwolf, etc.?

Have the same problem.
I can record if i select the playback device from my onboard soundchip or my monitor connected over dp/hdmi.
If i select my soundcard (strix soar) dxtory will stuck in "init" and won't record.

For my mic i can choose onboard or soundcard, both work fine.

Well i use my Blue Yeti microphone through an USB port and my headset through an Jack stick.

Did you try with record audio completely turned off (unchecked ) ?

I'm guessing you tried a full uninstall / reinstall already ?
