Title: Windows Store Apps Overlay Support?
Post by: TheRAMPAGE on April 06, 2016, 09:59:14 PM
Would you be able to create a hotfix or something to allow Windows Store apps like Quantum Break to show the overlay please... Dxtory records these games fine though I can't see my FPS nor can I see the file FPS...

It would be a great help, thanks

When it's ver2.0.134, it seems to be fixed.
It isn't released.
In case of ver2.0.133, there is a problem of DirectX12.
This case is that.

Is there a beta or current build available that I can try?

It wasn't exactly, no update release date... sorta need Dxtory to work lol.

Also if the issue was DX12 why would other DX12 games work?

The games can run but recording those games are another problem. Many recording software are working to patch in DX12 support, just as Dxtory is doing now. Even many of those games are not native/limited to DX12, so they could be downgraded in the options to 9 or 11 for recording to work. So far of the top of my head, the only recorders I know that work with DX12 are Bandicam and Action.

Yes and Dxtory will record, the only problem is the overlay doesn't show. Over DX12 games work fine though Windows Store games seem to never work, that was my point.
