Title: Reaper audio makes Dxtory INIT.
Post by: NeonNinja on April 14, 2016, 04:31:23 AM
Hi there, i can't record Battleborn currently, it seems to be the game itself that is the issue.

I get INIT every time i press my record key, and this is what my dxTory says:

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? i'm using the latest version.

That doesn't say much except that the game is getting detected by Dxtory.

We need more information from the environment log.

Strange. It worked fine for me. I don't think it's the game.

Okay, so i found out what was causing the problem, it was the program that i run my mic through.

I use reaper to add effects and mess with my sound, and whenever i open it, my dxtory makes the "init" error. So... is there any way around this? i've tried to make dxtory ignore the audio program, but that didn't really do anything

Really need that environmental information, but my guess would be that the audio settings on Dxtory aren't set properly.

Does the software have any output format? If so, you have to match that exactly in the Dxtory audio settings (e.g. Mono, 16-bit, 48kHz).

Edit: It could also be that Reaper blocks Dxtory from hooking the audio, which would be unfixable.
