I wanted to try out matrox codec out but it wont load with it installed

OK, could you tell us how you resolved the issue? I'm having problems with the recording just being laggy as hell for no apparent reason.

I had a similar problem with Matrox when I unwittingly installed the old version of it - Dxtory wouldn't load with it installed.
