Title: Dxtory causes X-Plane 10.50 to crash
Post by: jdb2 on October 20, 2016, 03:35:17 AM
I've been using Dxtory for years and I've used it for a long time to stream and capture videos from X-Plane. Anyway, recently, with X-Plane 10.50 64-bit, Dxtory has caused X-plane to crash, either when I start Dxtory and then start X-Plane, or if X-plane is already running when I start Dxtory. I've attached all the relevant logs as well as a crash dump analysis from windbg as I have windbg set up as my post-mortem debugger.

Here is my bug report :

[Condition of an event]

Every time I run DxTory, and then either launch X-Plane or if I already have X-plane running, X-Plane crashes.

[Target program]

X-Plane 10.50 64-bit (x-plane.exe)

[Player of movie]

VLC Media Player.

[Environment Information]

See attachment.

[Error Log]

See attachment.

[Dxtory Version]

2.0.136

[CPU]

Intel Core i7-6700HQ

[OS]

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Thanks for the tip. I updated to the latest version, but, unfortunately, I still experience the same behavior. That is, if X-Plane is running and I launch Dxtory, then X-Plane crashes, and, if Dxtory is already running and I then launch X-Plane, X-Plane also crashes.

I forgot to include the log files and the crash dump analysis from windbg. These are the new logs and crashdump generated from my unsuccessful test of trying to get Dxtory 2.0.139 working with X-Plane 10.50 64-bit. ( see attached )
