I searched around the forums a bit but haven't found anything similar to my question; I apologize in case this is a duplicate question.
I recently acquired a spare drive and bought an enclosure with an eSATA output for it. Would it be possible in some way, to install dxtory on this external hard drive and then use this drive as a portable recording station?
As an example, I travel to my friend's house and use external drive with his pc to record some footage.
I don't see why it wouldn't work, the codecs have to be installed though.
