Title: Needs help with multiple audio tracks + smooth recording
Post by: Mike JezZ on November 06, 2016, 09:50:34 PM
Hey guys,

After several tries with OBS Studio, I just found the program too hard to use, and wanted to try out other, easier tools.

I can record fine in Dxtory, but whereas my game runs 60 fps smooth, the movie really chugs alot on around 20 FPS. Also, I cannot split the audio between the game and my microphone. I probably do something wrong, but I'm not sure what.

Under Audio settings, I got two audio stream numbers, the one is my speakers, and the other is my microphone. When I have recorded a movie, it doesn't split the audio, but instead it just smacks it on the video. I would like it to be able to split the audio between my voice and my gameplay, is that possible?

Also, is it possible to record desktop, or can it only record gameplay? And what about adding af webcam is that also possible as well?

Please post the environment information as described here: http://forum.exkode.com/index.php?topic=2.0

You can split the audio tracks with almost any video editing software. Players tend to either just play one or all audio tracks.

You cannot record the desktop with Dxtory.

If I record a video with Dxtory, and I record my voice on the video, and export, it is not possible to split the game volume and my voice apart.
