Hello
I purchased Dxtory a few hours ago. Because some people I know kept recommending it.
I followed a few tutorials on how to get the software working, and reading a lot on the internet, along these forums. But for some reason, I can not get the video playback.
I have tried in VLC, and in DivX, none of them are working. VLC I have audio, but no video, and in DivX I have nothing.
I did figure out that VLC is not a supported playback system.
I have tried reinstalling Dxtory, using stable and latest builds, plus using this script as referred to
http://forum.dxtory.com/index.php?topic=915.0 Nothing worked so far.
What can I do to watch / edit my footage? Just spent 3600 JPY on this software. Should be working

This was the profile I used to test, because the game is fast and easy to start. Just minimized it to write this post.
VLC is the cause.
I did try DivX. Did not play at all.
afaik vlc and divx players handle codecs badly, try windows media player.

How about editing? Currently using Premiere Pro
can't say anything about premiere, but vegas opens dxtory files (dxtory codec, lagarith, ut video codec) just fine, as long as I have the correct "bitness" codecs installed, ie: in 64bit vegas I need 64bit codecs.
