Title: No record at all??
Post by: bacizone on October 30, 2013, 10:17:54 PM
Hi,

sorry, but I do not get how to record with the Dxtory trial.
I did not manage to record anything, using Win 7 64-bit.
Assigned the Ctrl+Shift+F12 to start capture, but whenever I press it, NOTHING happens.

Is there no a dedicated record button or something?

How to select which window or area to record? A bit confused.

help please,
B.

What game is it?

If a profile is not generated, Dxtory cannot handle it.

I am not a gamer, but a musician.
I would like to record my songmaking process in a music maker application called Cubase 7.
Nothing appears in the Target information when running that app.

Or... is this Dxtory just for games?  :o Hope not... I'd like to use is a kind-of Camtasia replacement.

quote from the dxtory website:
QuoteDxtory is a movie capture tool for DirectX and OpenGL Applications

if your app (cubase) doesn't present itself as directx or opengl app, it can't be recorded.
