Title: audio record only mode
Post by: djcrossfade on November 01, 2013, 10:58:30 AM
so i have tryed nvidia shadow play and it works get no fps lose . however i think  i would use  dxtroy for audio recording as it has the most options .
when i record my vids for youtube which im going to get back to . i record 3 audio inputs one for teamspeak ,one for game audio and the other for my mic .
i love this and dont see y there would not be a option to record the audio so that u can import the audio file to sony vegas and master the 3 audio tracks .

my work around will have to be using both nvidia shadow play and dxtory with dxtory having low setting .

there is fps lose with dxtory and not with shadow play so to keep dxtory going the audio record multi track recording would be a good option

Why use Dxtory for this then?

I would use another software?

If you want one that records your Speakers it´s not hard to make, easier however if you have Stereo Mixer "What U Hear" (different names, same thing).

Do you have that?

You can use Dxtory to record all the streams and export them as separate .WAV files with VirtualDubMod (freeware).
Its pretty fast so I dont see why you wouldnt opt for this instead...

Homepage:
*********
http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/

How:
****
1. Record a multi audio stream .AVI with DxTory.
2. Open the .AVI file with VirtualDubMod.
3. Click Streams_Stream list.
4. Click the audio stream you want to save as a separate .WAV file and select "Save WAV" option.
5. Import the .WAV file to Sony Vegas or video editing software of your choice...
