Recently my microphone audio seems to be out of sync with the game video and audio track. If I'm recording a conversation I seem to be answering questions before they are asked, e.g. the video/game audio is delayed to the mic recording.
Currently tested:
Using various video codecs = no change
Using various audio codecs = no change (see post below about track length)
Scaling from native (1440p) to 1080p = no change
Using Fraps to caputre footage = audio all synchronized properly
Updated to version 2.0.123 = no change
Observations:
When hitting record there is a delay where file fps is at 0 fps for around 1-2 seconds (normal?) where the overlay is yellow.
When ending recording there is a long delay while it writes to file (longer delay, the longer you've been recording sometimes 10 seconds+).

Just had a realization today when thinking about this...
It's not he mic audio thats not synchronized, it's that the video/game audio drift away from the mic recording!
e.g I'm talking on the mic to answer a question thats not been asked, I'll edit my first post to avoid confusion.
Another additional note, I recently unparked my CPU cores to resolve some issues with Battlefield 4, I'm not sure if that could be causing an issue, I'll revert it stock tonight and test.
Edit: Tested this no effect
Interesting note, using another audio codec MS-ADPCM 44.1khz 4bit mono, it didn't record the audio but the track length is off in Vegas, see below:

The track lengths are identical when you use PCM 44.1khz 16bit Mono

Just had that after only 3 minutes, that seems hugely desynced on mic input, can anyone confirm if that's normal? It varies between 0 and -2500ms constantly. Going to keep updating this for the next hour or so.

Currently using driver: GeForce R331 Game Ready Driver - WHQL - Version: 331.82
I'm going to revert to GeForce 327.23 Driver WHQL and see if the issue persists.
Edit: No effect

Please see video highlighting issue, this is after 10minutes of footage. I'm saying "lean" as I press the key, you can see the difference is huge.
Issue resolved, I tried a cheap analogue mic and after 15 minutes of footage it was still synced perfectly.
Wireless mics seem to lose synchronisation over time, unsure why it was never affected before during the last year of recording...
For reference this is on a pair of Logitech g930's.
