I recently just got a new computer, and I can't seem to get Dxtory to work on it. Can you give me some help?
Define 'seems not to work' it doesn't want to accept your license?
That's the thing, when I click it, I'm asked to register my license, and I don't know how to do that. It says "Please input license file path.", and I don't know what that means. I registered my Dxtory license a few months back, and I've forgotten the process. Since I already own the license, I figure I don't need to pay for it again. Just could use someone to point me in the right direction. I'm not the best with this sorta stuff to begin with.
When you purchased Dxtory you would have received an email from cs@exkode.com that had an attachment called "DxtoryLicenceFile.dxtorylic".
You will need to either dig up the old email and re download the attachment or find that file on your old PC and copy it to your new one.
Once you have that file, launch Dxtory, click Run Licence Register, click on the image of the folder, browse to the location where you put "DxtoryLicenceFile.dxtorylic", select it and click Open.
Now click Register, you should get a popup saying "Licence Registered" click OK and re launch Dxtory.
Now you are done!
Finally got around to seein' if this would work, and it has. I can finally get to work on my content. Thank you very much.
I am having a similar problem installing on new computer (Win8).
"Now click Register, you should get a popup saying "Licence Registered" click OK and re launch Dxtory." When I do this, I get an error message "Could not find a part of path".
What should I try next?
Never mind. I figured out a solution. I had to create a new file inside of dxtory, move the license there, and then run the register. Thank you anyway!
