It is not your problem.
Your friend needs to access a forum directly.
Your information is not help.

I think I see the problem.  First off, you have 3 threads open on the forum asking for help with only one issue, which only serves to make supporting the issue more difficult.  So for the sake of getting you the help you need please repost your environment in this thread and let the other 2 die.  Also re-explain your situation.  In your first thread I believe ExKode read where you state your friend also uses dxtory and does not have the same difficulty and that is where you are now getting the response to get your friends environment.  By comparing yours and your friends environments ExKode can tell you the difference and then provide an informed solution.  I can try to give you a solution in the mean time that may or may not be helpful.  I find that whenever I use Lagarith with source games it had difficulty keeping up.  I have tried a number of settings within that codec and am always disappointed.  The orange number will say 30 (which is what I want) but the file is choppy and awful.  I would try the default xtor codec or the packbit codec as I have had alot of success with those.  Something to keep in mind is that you should not run the game from the same HDD you are recording to as you are narrowing the already small bandwidth availability.  See if that produces better results and if so you just need to refine your settings.  If your videos are going to youtube, it uses the 4:2:0 colorspace (12bpp?) I recommend recording the same (medium in xtor) as otherwise you are using more bits per pixel at record that will go to waste in the finished product.   Also, you should only record at 30 FPS unless you plan on doing some slow motion effects in your project.

Some of this you may already know, but hopefully something in there will be of use.

Ok i have 2 threads open.. because i didnt get anny help... and why should i record in 30 fps... i can record in 60 fps with fraps and dont have any problems...
the game is on another HDD then the recording.

i have the same issue with the original dxtory codec. so i dont think its the lossles codec that causes the problem.

her is my environment again...

I'm not bashing for the open threads, I'm just letting you know from a troubleshooting perspective that this is ALWAYS a no-no on any forum.

Quoteand why should i record in 30 fps
A. Troubleshooting
B. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en

Quotei can record in 60 fps with fraps and dont have any problems
Fraps uses a compressed codec (or at least the last time I tried it that was the case) meaning it uses less HDD bandwidth at the cost of performance.  That being the case your recordings at 60 FPS in fraps is likely to fall within your single HDD bandwidth of 125 MB/sec.

If you want to troubleshoot the issue with me you need to follow the steps and report back the results.  If you want to go another direction or inform me how you don't think it will work then we can stop.

Step 1 set your recording fps to 30.  Step 2 select Dxtory default codec.  Step 3 configure the codec to use the medium 4:2:0 color space and step 4 record some footage and see if the results are improved.

If they do, even if you don't like the look it will point out to you WHERE the problem lies.  The most likely culprit is the HDD bandwidth.  People that select ultra high recording settings don't do so because our CPU or GPU or memory or motherboards are outstanding, it's because we record to RAW output and use multiple hard drives to spread out the data load because the biggest recording bottleneck is your HDD bandwidth.  If you still have poor video results we have potentially taken both data bandwidth and codec out of the spotlight as culprits.

Well i want to solve my problem but i think you dont get my point.. i can record games with dxtory with the settings i have. BF4, CS:go, 7D2D, Shadowwarrior, Hitman, payday2, minecraft.. the list goes on forever.. i just have that problems with a view games. like l4d2, contagion and rust...

i dont think my HDD is the bottleneck becaus i tryed using my SSD and there was no difference...
And as i said i can record BF4 with 60 FPS and play it with 90-120 FPS... so im kinda confused why the other games dont do the same...

And from these 3 threads are only 2 Open.. the first one was closed. and i opend the other 2. because i was kinda furiouse about the support that didnt help me...

now to the 30 FPS and dxtory default codec. i allready tryed recording in 30 FPS and the default codec. it didnt change anything. still 15 FPS...

now for the last step. how exactly can i change the codec settings to medium 4:2:0?

if you reply i can test the settings next year because i´ll be on vacation till then =)))
