Title: Dxtory makes three identical files while recording
Post by: KisukeOboro on March 02, 2014, 09:00:28 AM
Well, almost identical. The only difference is around .04 seconds that Dxtory made them between each one. For example, if I was recording a game, the files that it would create would look like this:

(Game Name) 2014-03-01 15-44-30-758.rawcap
(Game Name) 2014-03-01 15-44-30-803.rawcap
(Game Name) 2014-03-01 15-44-30-846.rawcap

Those files are all the exact same from when I started recording to when I stop recording. It's really annoying.
I have no idea why it's making three identical files. It really cuts my hard drive space down by a third by doing this while recording (can only delete them after I'm done recording), and it's really a hassle doing cleanup work by deleting the duplicate files. I've looked through all of the options, but I don't see anywhere where it says that it will make three files nor where there is a button or option to turn this off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here you go. Just in case you're wondering, there's nothing in the Dxtory_log.txt or the ErrorLog.txt either

Probably the program is performing reset of the device two or more times.
It is normal operation.

So... How do you stop it then?

Hello? How can you stop Dxtory from making multiple files?

If i may ask. Why are you recording with rawcap if you only have 1 HDD. Rawcap splits the file in parts so it can be written to more HDDs at the same time.
