Title: Question to ExKoder regarding forum bans
Post by: RobiePAX on May 23, 2014, 10:55:34 PM
I have a question regarding bans on forum. You ban users and close threads without any explanation post.

I assume you somehow find out that the user is a pirate and using cracked version of Dxtory. But where are you getting the information from? For example in this thread (http://forum.exkode.com/index.php?topic=746.0) it seems you have banned the user simply because he haven't updated his Dxtory version.

At least leave a short briefs why the thread is being closed prior bans.

well, see under the username, it reads "criminal". I'm guessing old version + known email-address for already existing ban. who knows.

afaik bootlog & env-info, they contain licence hash -> some hashes are not allowed. otherwise... dunno & I don't think he tells, that would probably tip the pirates & they could try to circumvent it.

Also, this is why I don't offer my input in any thread untill Exkoder has deemed the OP worthy of help :)
