Alright hallo there,so since i uprgaded to windows 8.1 my Dxtory seems to not want to record minecraft at all! From all the games i tested it's the only one that is acting weird!
So basically the problem is:
I'm playing minecraft w/o recording at 400+ FPS but when i click the damn record button @ 30FPS with an hdd @ 110mb/s my game fps is 8 and the file fps is 8 too!
Specs:
AMD FX 6300 @3.5GHz
ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
GIGABYTE WINDFORCE 3X R9 270X
8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Does anyone what the problem is?
if you also are running the 14.4 catalysis drivers then down grade to 13.x i my fps tanked to 8 fps with the 14.4 drivers
I'll try that out and i'll get back to you!
Emm sir you have to change what FPS it records at...
Under Movie Tab top right... you have to change that to what you want ALSO youtube will only record 30 fps

He already stated in the first post that he records his gameplay at 30 fps. 400+ fps is in-game framerate.
I personally think it's AMD drivers issue. OP might consider rolling back drivers. Also either turn on Vsync or limit game framerate to 60 fps, otherwise you put very wasteful stress on your computer trying to play your game at few hundred frames per second, when chances are your monitor can't even display more than 60 frames per second.
