Title: [Question]Does someone look in these forums?
Post by: legendarymarvin on July 01, 2014, 06:10:19 PM
I'm pretty disappointed in the way feedback is handled here at ExKode's. I opened three or four different threads in the feedback forum suggesting new features and not one of them was answered by someone from ExKode, a simple "We won't implement that" would be sufficient (would be the wrong attitude, but at least it wouldn't be totally ignored). Also on other Threads there seem to be close to none official response.
I even sent two emails to ExKode regarding not answered Feedback which were completely ignored too.

Probably this thread will be ignored too and nothing more than a sad monument to unheard Feedback.

I believe the biggest issue of Dxtory is that it's a foreign entity, so automatically there's that international communications boundary. I'm not sure if ExKode are not willing to hire fluent English speaking moderators or simply lack resources to hire anyone. Considering the forum activities I strongly assume ExKode consists only of 1 man.

Which is not great really, ExKoder is not expanding his own profits. The most popular and most profitable YouTube channel is a Gaming Channel and Gaming Community grew more than ever before in past years. And more and more people are looking for best solutions to start their own channels, and only thanks to major Gaming Channels such as TotalBiscuit (https://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut) or JackFrags (https://www.youtube.com/user/JackFrags) that Dxtory receives the amount of traffic as it currently does, since they promote Dxtory as being the best gameplay capture software. Yet it feels like that ExKode are stuck in one place no matter how popular they are becoming.

Doubt he actually earns enough that it would be worth hiring a moderator just for helping the few that ask for help here.
