Title: Dxtory Video Voice drop on Upload?
Post by: tigerfrog555 on July 13, 2014, 01:26:26 AM
Hello Dxtory Community!

I have been having a problem ever since I got Dxtory.

I recorded a video with minecraft, skype and my mic audio. When the video finished loading, I watched it. It worked great. That was the "Raw" Video. Once I uploaded it to youtube, my voice/mic audio dropped completely and had no record of ever being there. The minecraft and skype audio were the only ones there. The "Raw" Video still had my voice, but whenever I uploaded it to youtube or put ANY of the videos with my audio into a video editor or uploaded them, my voice was gone although skype and the game was still there. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!

You must process your "raw video" through a video editor to merge all audio tracks together. By simply uploading the video to YouTube you are telling YouTube to use only the 1st audio track in the video and mute all others.

Video Editor such as Sony Vegas will automatically detect secondary audio tracks in the video and will display them. Other video editors such as Adobe Premiere will require you to extract audio tracks manually first as the screenshot below shows:
