Anyone have any idea or solution to this: Lightworks (my free video editing software of choice) dosent accept AVI or RAW, is there anyway to add file outputs to DXtory? For some reason even Movie Maker isnt liking AVI. Is it my codec? ( Lararith Lossless ). Any help is appreciated.
Lightworks is a very basic video editor, I've tried it in the past. It's a lie that they accept "any video codec". Neither Dxtory or Fraps videos can be processed with it. One way to cheat the system is to convert your Dxtory videos to more common format using the Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr), in theory it should work.
Windows Movie Maker on the other hand indeed should work with Dxtory. You might need to install K-Lite Codec Pack (http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_codec_pack_download.htm) first if it refuses to process it.
