Title: Dxtory recorded video seems to run slow!
Post by: FkMamBo on July 26, 2014, 06:58:24 AM
While recording my game I didn't encounter any FPS drops or other issues like that, it all went fine. But when I watched the video I recorded, it seemed like it was running a little bit slower. I found out that the video was timed by frames and not by seconds like, in one second there would be played X frames. How can I possible fix this?

Probably slow hard drive that you're recording to. Do a test on it.

Sounds like you have dropped frames in the video. Download and install FRAFS AVI Info  (http://sourceforge.net/projects/frafsaviinfo/). Open it and drag your Dxtory video into it to view the video information report. Next click on the "Copy text to clipboard" button as screenshot below shows to copy the report, and paste in your reply in this thread.

We are looking for how many dropped frames are in the video in percentage. 100% is perfect intact video. 90% is reasonably unnoticable amount of dropped frames. Anything less than 90% will be visibly laggy.
