Help & Support / Problems with DXTory
Last post by IDGam3r - January 03, 2019, 02:46:42 PMI was writing this on my mobile so anyone asking for an enviroment log, I don't have one presently available(Tendency to delete logs of things I have absoloutely no idea of).
So in the last year I have had so many Tech problems, and some were associated with DXTory, Here is the list:
1: The all common INIT error which I had fixed so many times.
2: Recording a video slowly had an Audio/Video Desync after some 7 or so minutes.
3: When reviewing recorded footage, there were several video stutters that also cause an Audio/Video desync.
4: (This is more Recent), I press the record button, it shows the satistics like bitrate, time recorded, etc, however not a single second records and when I press the record button it "stops" the recording but the FPS overlay has FIN and does not dissapear, and there is no footage.
These are some settings and specs, that MIGHT help

Codec/s Used: x265vfw Codec(Which for some reason I cannot seem to get it working), x264vfw Codec.
Audio: Lame MP3 Codec, Highest Quality possible.
Audio Channels: 3, Game Audio, Discord Chat Audio, Microphone Audio
Resoloution: 1440p
FPS: 60fps
Bitrate: 32000

Last post by BrollyLSSJ - December 29, 2018, 08:17:40 PMFor me I like Mirillis Action! most as an alternative. If I am not wrong it does not allow custom codecs though. PlayClaw is maybe also an alternative or the free OBS Studio. PlayClaw did not run that good on my ancient hardware though. The best are DxTory and Mirillis Action for me.

合成をすることができました。

録画ゲーム：Shadow of the TOMB RAIDER
解像度：2560x1440
T2のないコーデックでは落ちます。T2のみが使えています。というより、2560x1440で無印で録画すると、
!ENCODEがつくことが多いです。
環境：
Win10 Home 64bit
メモリ：16GB
Core i7 8700K
GTX1080Ti
画質はGeforce Experienceでの最適化から、カスタムフルスクリーンを解除した状態です。
参考までに

Where it used to go fine when i used it years ago, i now have a better pc, an ssd (as opposed to HDD) and better settings in dxtory (using losless codec and everything) but while my game isnt lagging at all the file fps is at a disappointing 20-30, when i use the stabilize fps function it goes up a little, but it hardly reaches over 60. Is there any fixes?
(my writespeed is 340mb/s if anyone was wondering)

Though, no idea if it'll help, as the dev seems to have either disappeared or is just otherwise very unresponsive. Unless I remember horribly wrong, I think the dev mentioned some health issues on his blog (http://exkoder.blogspot.com/) ages ago, but dunno, google translate isn't doing any favors to help find it.
Hope he is okay, as DxTory is the preferred capture software, I'd hate to see it left unmaintained :|

I feel that i may be able to more concisely convey what's happening, like many others my hard drive blew up resulting in me loosing my License file, however i found that there is a way you can have it re sent to you through http://exkode.com/lic/publish-en.php, however i have no idea why but this function does not seem to work at all and i am completely stumped as what to do next short of buying the license again. If anyone can provide some help it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
