Just got my self a new head set with a mic (HyperX Cloud II) and ive just been experimenting with recording. I can record games fine (ish) but when i come to play the recording after wards iv noticed that the mic volume is extremely quiet. Ive made sure volume buttons are turned up etc etc and its still not working. Im using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 to edit, and (excuse my not very knowledgble lingo) the track that the voice is recorded to has no sound wave things (like showing you how load the audio is at one point), the sections is just black. Its not a problem with Adobe has other methods work fine, and when i play the video in other software i have the same problems as i do in Adobe.

Ive attached the media info.

Any help is appreciated !

I assume the volume buttons you are talking about are the physical volume for your headset? Have you increased the volume within Dxtory? "See my attachment"

I've been having this issue as well and have not yet been able to resolve it. My current work around is just using another program to record my mic input and syncing it up in post. Here's my post for reference but I haven't gotten any feedback yet, still trying to figure it out: http://forum.exkode.com/index.php?topic=1731.0
