MrLmao24

Hello,
Ill start this off by saying that i've been trying for the last few days now to get this to work.
Specs: AMD Radeon R9 290, INTEL 4670k 16gb Ram and Using a 250gb SSD with a 370mbps rate on Dxtory (Nothing is on said SSD, Completley Empty)
The Problem: Whenever I start recording In BF4 I get a clean 60fps Constant ingame, but the "File Counter" displayed below it counts between 47-49 and goes up to 59 when ever my fps goes below 60,
Im trying to record 60fps for youtube at 720p (If you were wondering) so having it choppy at 48 "File Counter" inst good. I need help with the fact that the write goes up to 59 when my fps goes below 60.
,Thanks

I would say the H264 codec isn't set up for real-time rendering. Do you want to record videos, then immediately upload them to YouTube or do you want to cut/do post-processing with them?

If it's the former, you could post a screenshot of your current settings (it's the button next to the codec drop down menu). If you want real time recordings, you might want to set the Preset to Faster (or even faster than that).

If the latter is the case, use a lossless codec (provided Dxtory codec, Lagarith, MagicYUV etc.), these lower the load on the CPU, however they create big files so 250GB will only last 30-60min (guess).
