DXtory interferes with Firestorm (flickering, crashing, black window)

I primarily use DXtory to record Firestorm which is a popular Second Life client, currently running GL DX11.

If I have DXtory running when I start Firestorm the window flickers with black. I have to close/reopen both to get the login screen.
If I start DXtory on the login screen and then click Log In Firestorm crashes. For this reason I must shutdown DXtory, start firestorm and login, then start DXtory.
If I minimize Firestorm for awhile before picking the window up again the window end up all black and both must be restarted.

I do not know why DXtory interferes with a different software like this but are there any options I can try to stop it from doing so?

It looks like it uses OpenGL and if you have an ATI card, that may be the issue.

The Windows 10 update was fixed in v373.06 of the Nvidia Driver software and I use 375.70.

I get the same issue with Dxtory in Rainbow 6. When Dxtory is running I keep getting a black screen for a few seconds, then I can see the game, and then a black screen in a continuous loop.

I had to abandon DXTory for Bandicam due to this issue. I noted similar issues in other games, such as Fallout 4 crashing when loading the menu and Arma 3 not even starting. The reason why DXTory blocks games is yet a mystery.
