Directshow Capture Device Show no input.

I'm trying to get a feed from WinAmp's milkdrop visualizer in to Resolume. I will get Dxtory frame data in the window I wish to play in Resolume but all four devices are just black.

The short short version for Directshow is
1.  Set output to DirectShow Output
2.  Press the record hotkey to activate capture ( it doesn't write to a file, it just outputs the video to Directshow )
