Problems with overlay

I don't know if this will get answered. But I have just been forced to upgrade to win10.
I have used dxtory heavily for quite a while on win7.
After the upgrade dxtroy has either been preventing games from opening or the overlay will not appear.
This happens in games that were fine when running win7.
Please help me. I just wanted to continue to record.

The onld option you have for those games that do not start is to set your hookdelay to more than 0 seconds. 5 work for me, whereas others recommend 20 seconds.

Have already tried this.
Anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds.
Some games crash other games never get hooked.

Sad to hear this, since Dxtory is pretty much dead, so I'm afraid there will not be further updates.
You can of course try to update your drivers and turn off any other overlays that could interfere with dxtory (e.g. Windows Gaming, Steam, Discord, etc) and maybe that will work.
In the long run you might want to switch to another capture tool like OBS, for instance.

the problem is i use rawcap to get good looking footage at hi framerates.
I can find nothing that does this like dxtory.
