Frame drop by 20-30 fps when recording

Bought Dxtory last night since I heard it produced high quality video with little to no impact on your gameplay. If that's true, why does Saints Row 4 go from 55-60 fps to 25-30 when I hit record? Is there something I'm doing wrong? It doesn't seem to matter what codec I use, my framerate is halved when I hit record.

Specs:
Intel i5-4670 3.4GHz quad-core processor
Radeon HD 7970, 3GB
8GB RAM
2TB HDD, 7200 rpm SATA 6GB/s (recording to this drive)
128GB SSD (games/OS)
Windows 8, 64-bit

It saved to HDD?
Is it HDD of 4K sector?
I think that a write-in speed was accelerated under the influence of OS cache system.
The cache system of Windows8 has a defect to which speed falls.
It will become normal if it is made a setup which does not use cache by the policy of a storage device.

Video FPS falls because you are using the "Wait for Available Buffer" option.

Wait for Available Buffer didn't have a noticeable effect one way or the other. How can I check on the Windows 8 issue?
