I always used Dxtory with my Steam with no problem, but after these new Steam updates, Dxtory stopped working properly in some games.
Dxtory stopped working with Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Neither i can cap the fps or see the overlay in-game.
Far Cry 3 started to stutter/hiccup whenever i move the mouse, walk with the keyboard and even when i dont move i see the foliage, animals, vehicles stuttering. FYI: I cap the game at 30fps.
I tested with Sleeping Dogs and Alan Wake and both are working fine.

I turned Dxtory off and tested with Fraps and the overlay worked on Oblivion.

I dunno what happened cause i played FC3 nd Oblivion before and both were working fine with Dxtory.

Can you guys take a look at that, cause seems to be a conflict between Dxtory and a new or updated Steam file.

Here is the Environment Information and Error Log.

Note: I tested Dxtory  2.0.125 and 2.0.126, and both have the same issues mentioned above. I just noticed that with 2.0.126, the loading screens in Skyrim are much faster than with 2.0.125 when the fps is capped at 30fps.

Note2: I tested Bandicam program and its working with Oblivion, but it have the same stutter issue in Far Cry 3 when i cap the fps. This is very weird cause i played 50 hours of FC3 last month with fps capped at 30fps and had zero issues.

Just an update...

I tested recording FC3 with Fraps capped at 30fps and no stutters/hiccups, then tested recording with Dxtory capped at 30fps and stutter/hiccup like when i cap the fps to 30 without recording. I even tried the Delay hook option to 30sec with no luck.

You are using a program like MOD.
It may be the cause.

Im using a program called SweetFX, its an external Anti-Aliasing injector and its indeed whats causing Dxtory not work with Elder Scrolls Oblivion, but thats very weird cause i always use it in my games and even used it in OBlivion 2 weeks ago with no problems.
Like i said it stopped working after a Steam update some days ago.
I know its not exactly SweetFX fault because it works with Fraps and Bandicam and worked with Dxtory.

Im almost sure some Steam dll file got updated and is now conflicting with Dxtory.
I remember when Max Payne 3 was released it was conflicting with Dxtory and i posted a topic on the old forum (site) and you gave me an Dxtory .dll file that fixed the issue.

Just in case im sending you the dll files SweetFX uses for dx9 and dx11 anti-aliasing, in case you want to take a look.
