DxTory - Good Benchmark, bad writing speed during a recording

Hello Community,

I have a problem since last week. I use DxTory since February 2013 but last time I wanted to record the game Minecraft at my standard settings (FullHD 1920x1080) I only had 7-9FPS during the recording. From last week to today I installed different versions of DxTory, reinstalled my OS etc. Normally I have 90-120+ FPS in Minecraft and other games (without recording). I noticed, that DxTory only writes with 3-10MB/s during a recording but the benchmark said, that DxTory writes with 150-180MB/s.

Taskmanager. I fixed the problem.. it was the newest AMD driver 14.4. Thank you for your help

When you say  it was the newest AMD driver 14.4. do you mean that was the problem or that was the solution to fix it? What CCC version do you have?
Wanting to make sure mine goes back up as I was having similar problem before I reinstalled OS and it was a bit finiky recently, my Catalyst version is 14.6 and the Driver Packaging Version is 14.20-140522a-172180E

14.4-14.6 ist the problem. I downgraded it to 13.251 but 13.12 is working too btw what is CCC?

ahhh right! and CCC is the catalyst control center it is just named that on the .exe file itself and referred to in places around the web as CCC
Do you recommend 13.251 then or 13.12 (or does it do no difference)?


*EDIT* figured out that the download of the control center is version 13.21 but the visual driver version is the 13.251 will give it a go with MC soon.
