Dxtory won't record whole screen

So basically i have been trying to record some minecraft videos. But i can not do this because dxtory will not record the sides of the screen. for example the chat box in the bottom left will not be show as for the whole left side because some of it is been cut out. As for on the right side.
This is strange because i have my monitor set to 1920x1080 and thats what dxtory's resolution is at. I have re installed and watched lots of videos but still can't get the answer.
Could someone please ansa as this is really annoying me.
