I am currently having an issue with Dxtory. When I try to record with the dxtory codec on low settings using an SSD for storage OR Using x264 codec on a HDD with a 117 MB/sec , It only hits 40fps it's like it caps out at 40. I have it set to record at 60 but it never goes past 40. I will include the Dxtory environment info.

speed of storage  is slow.

But shouldn't that not matter if I am using the compression codec of x264? or at lest 117 MBs should be fast enough.. But I have also tried recording on my SSD which gets 348 MB/s with the same issue.

Update

well I had just upgraded to a new mobo and was use to dual channel memory this mobo was quad so that is what was causing my lower fps/recording.
