Are there any plans to improve rawcapconv?

I know its a common issue with rawcap crashing and I have been unable to access some videos due to this.
Rawcap crashes upon opening, once I add all the parts to a video, or when I begin to build a video. 
I'm guessing fixing this would be very difficult but I am curious if it's as you might say "on the list".
