Max video recording in minutes

I just installed DXTory in order to record video games.
My first question is: for how many minutes can DXTory register ? ( max )

You meant for how long Dxtory can record?
Longest recording I've done was about 4½ hours long, could probably record a lot longer videos but I runned out of HDD space.

I did a test,recorded a video ( duration 35 minutes ) but the play back time was only 29 sec
I know I must do something wrong,may be in the settings,therefore I would appreciate some
hints.

You should show your settings. The recording might have crashed 30 seconds in and stopped.
