Try using more of your processing threads.

I have it set to use all 8 threads, well I have been.

DarkShadowRage

There is like no reason the audio should go out of sync, it never used to do this, is there any solution at all?

Tymorafarr

There might be a slightly more tedious solution. You can try using Handbrake to re-render it into a lossless file from the raw file. With the option Constant Frame Rate turned on instead of Variable.

It wont matter if I do that, I render my videos out in sony vegas however if the audio is desync in the AVI it will be desync forever unless i realign it in sony vegas and that's a pain in the ass. It never used to go out of sync, come on now there has to be a better fix this NEVER used to happen.

chronosek

I see from log that you are using lagarith? some users found out that with lastest version dxtory lagarith codec working wrong (it use null frames even if it is not checked, and editing programs like sony vegas can not decode it properly doing desync, and i did some tests too it never archieve 60 fps). Try use UTVideo for now, i see  you have installed it too.

I doubt, lastest version of lagarith is 5 years old, and this version was working with older version dxtory, so lastest dxtory version have problem.
But why you not want use UTVideo (RGB or YUV420)? It is lossless too, free too, have the same compression, using less resources, you should change lagarith to utvideo, utvideo working great with this version of dxtory

that's the thing, I did try out UT video, and i got the same desync issue with that as well.

mdnpascual

What audio codec do you use? Just use PCM and don't use mp3 or other compression codecs.

Also one more reason of desyncs is your recording setting doesn't match with the format.

Go to you control panel and make sure that your default playback device and recording device are set equal to your dxtory settings on audio.

I.E: If your speakers are set to 2 channel, 24bit, 48000Hz, then match it to dxtory settings. Same with recording device

Yeah I use PCM, but i'll check the other settings!, I just noticed my speaker settings were off from what I put it on dxtory, if this really was the issue this whole time i'm gonna feel like the biggest moron ever lol.

after setting my sounds settings to match Dxtory it's still off by half a second.

also putting it in sony vegas as always i notice my audio is ahead of the video at the end and it looks like this, even though it's desynced anyway in the avi.

DarkShadowRage

I finally FIXED IT! the issue was the fact i didn't update my new motherboards audio drivers syncing issues BE GONE!
