Black Borders around DxTory that just won't go away!

I've tried everything I can think of to get rid of the black borders that surround my videos. In the Movie Tab, and the Video Settings, I have my video's size as 1280 x 720, with 100% scaling, but when I go to record in MAME, my videos always come out with black borders like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qdIzgZRISM

Anything I can do to solve this issue? I don't want to have to use another editing software to fix what should be a very minor problem...

do not set video size in the settings unless you *really* know you need that.

It looks like your application renders to a resolution smaller than 1280x720 -> your app will only appear as big as it is, rest of the image will be black.
