Hi  :)
I got my new gpu yesterday and i wanted to try recording again.

But the recording fps is very low, compared to video fps.
I can play the games i tested it with (Overwatch, Sleeping Dogs, Rocket League, Hearthstone Tabletop Simulator) with 40-60fps.
But the recording fps is between 15 and 25 fps.
It didnt make a difference if i set fps to 30 or 60 in the movie settings.
I record the video onto the same hdd as i have dxtory and the game, the writing benchmark says ~ 130mb/sec.

I played around with dxtory video codec and lagarith lossless, but it didnt make any difference.
In Overwatch i tried two different settings (ultra and low) but it brought me the same results: recording fps of ~ 20fps.
The recording message also shows me an !Encoding message all the time, and from time to time for a moment !Storage.  I dont know about !Encoding, but my hdd has about 1 TB of free space.

Attached are the Environment Information and two Screenshots from Overwatch. The first on Ultra setting (owdxt.jpg), the second one is on low game setting (owdxt2low.jpg)

I hope you can find a clue where my problem lies and what i can change to hopefully fix it  :)
If there are any additional questions i can answer them today evening (in about 12 hours lol) when i am back home.

Thanks in advance

Malix

!Encoding == cpu not fast enough to handle the codec at current resolution & framerate

!Storage == your hard disk not fast enough to handle the recorded video

Maybe try magicyuv? It is a bit faster than lagarith & produces only slightly larger files, so it just might get past the encode & storage warnings.

Oh well...
Since both are not good enough for what i want to record, the fps is probably tied into this as well. No recording with dxtory for me then for about another 6-10 months until i finally upgraded  the other parts of my pc :'(

Thank you for the answer.
