What is the RawInput Hook?

Raw Input is good... for mouse and stuffs, what does the dxtory tick box do?

In case of GTA5, a usual low-level keyboard hook doesn't function.
GTA5 side of the bug is the cause.
The RawInput, in the input processing of even lower level than the low-level keyboard hook, that can evade this problem.
The problem that a hot key doesn't function is almost settled with this.

is there any reason to NOT use the raw input? Recording hotkey seems to work pretty much always better with it selected.
