Hey guys,

I haven't changed a SINGLE THING in the settings of dxtory, it has been working perfectly since i bought it a month ago but i opened it today to record gameplay and now everytime i playback recordings there are horizontal static lines across my recordings?! (SEE ATTACHMENT) It also has  recorded the screen smaller and now the video area shows the gameplay 5 times? Frustrating because I HAVEN'T CHANGED A THING.

I've tried changing the output folder that the vid goes to, restarting dxtory, restarting my pc but nothing has worked, if u guys can't think of what it could be i'll try reinstalling dxtory as that is the only thing i can think of doing!

My dxtory settings are exactly the same as what this guy recommends-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pQcx7w2du4 i use the lagarith codec etc. which has been working fine until tonight!

I appreciate you trying to help me!

Please post the environment information as described here: http://forum.exkode.com/index.php?topic=2.0

It certainly looks very odd, could be alot of things.

Hi

Thanks for your response! I've attached those three files.

You can try to reset the scaling (set both x and y size to 0 and then scaling to 100%). If that doesn't work, enable "Wait for Available Buffer" (maybe there is an issue) in the advanced settings.

Another thing would be to update to 2.0.140.

If all that doesn't help, did you install any mods to Fallout 4? Some of them cause problems with recording.

I'll try those out and see if they fix it.

Thanks again for your time

I've tried doing those things and have even updated dxtory to the newest version but I'm still getting the same problem.

I haven't installed any mods for fallout, I also get this problem with every other game I play :(

Long shot, but you could try a different codec (MagicYUV or UtVideo).
