Is anyone able to get the Grass Valley codec working?

I'm trying to record a video game stream using the Grass Valley HQX codec with DxTory.  It simply encodes a blank screen.  All other installed codecs (including Cineform, UtVideo, x265, Logarith, etc) work fine.  The ErrorLog and DxTory_log files are empty.  The codec was downloaded from [here][http://www.videohelp.com/software/Grass-Valley-HQX-Codec].  Encoding to the Grass Valley codec from Premiere works fine.

Could somebody try it out on their system to see if this can be replicated?  The codec is free and can be easily removed.
