Recording Issues

Hello,

I purchased a license and set everything up according to the youtube post by JackFrags (including the Lagarith codec).

I recorded my first video and it was excellent.

However, now when I record, it goes like this :

Once I start my PC, the first recording I make is fine.

Every other recording after that has no video, just sound when opened with Windows Media Player (which is what I've been using).

The only way to get video to record again is to completely re-boot the PC. You can then record one video, after which all the video's have no image again.

I have tried uninstalling dxtory and re-installing, and re-doing the setup. I have also tried with other codecs but there is no change.

I still have issues after re-installing again.

It works the first time, or first couple of times, then it doesn't. When it works, it's perfect.

I'm having the same problem. First video works fine, and then any time I try to record after results in a solid black screen. The audio is still there though. Any ideas?

I have the same problem - but it loads fine in VLC player and my editing program. So it could be a codec issue with WMP.
