Does anyone know of a simple codec that will export to a .mp4 file? Thanks!

You can try what I suggested in this post, but its more of a work-around.

Why do you need to record directly to mp4 ?
Using Windows 10 ?  Try the latest version first http://exkode.com/dxtory-downloads-en.html
